Hantian Cao

Hi! I am Cao Hantian. I am an international student from China about to continue to Year 2 Medical Biosciences (BMB) at Imperial. My academic focus is the interdisciplinary area between biology and data science. I have been a member of the Computational Biology Society for the past year, and I am eager to get more deeply involved with it.

If elected as the promotional officer, I would aim to:

1. Ensure club activities will be aware to all club members via various common social media platforms
2. Build a larger community by attracting more people interested in computational biology to the club
3. Bring more frequent and diverse activities, e.g. coding sessions, to club members

I founded a biology club during high school and had been the chair for two years. We did regular practical sessions and maintained a social media account, which equipped me with planning skills, teamworking skills, and content production skills that are essential for this role.
