Mustafaa Khan

Hi there! I'm Mustafaa, a 2nd year medical student and I'm thrilled to run for the LMAP education officer position. I enjoyed studying LMAP this year but want to improve the learning experience for students next year.

My Experience:

• Lecturer: Delivered engaging sessions for MedED BRS crash course and PassPOM.
• As a member of MedEd committee this year I have helped with year 5 and 6 PACES and made content easily available as their webmaster and I will be year 5 co-ordinator next year showing my dedication to Imperial's teaching societies.
• This year I held 6 committee roles: Publicity Officer for pharmacology and ID, respiratory secretary, nutritank events officer, MedEd webmaster and SORA national conference lead.

Key Skills:

• Proven dedication to time management (from all my previous roles).
• I understand education content from the perspective of a learner, lecturer and organiser.
• Listen carefully to feedback and engage with my audience.

My Plans:

• Release an updated 20 page notes for year 2 LMAP by assembling a team of my current year to compile their notes.
• Create Year 2 mocks for each of the four topics in LMAP released throughout the year.
• Continue introduction to year 1, 2 and global health Bsc.
