Hi everyone, I am Hexiao (Matthew) DAI. As a responsible and ambitious individual, I'm running for Deputy Head of the Careers Department (Innovation) of CSSA.

I have a great passion and zeal for bringing relevant industries to Imperial College to provide cutting-edge information and let Chinese students get involved in exploring relevant sectors they are interested in.

As I held leadership positions both as a Hall senior in Wilson and as the careers officer in my home Department, If elected as Deputy Head of the Careers Department (Innovation), I will endeavour to:

1. Member involvement: I will survey the interests of the CSSA community and endeavour to promote stronger partnerships with relevant industries. I will also endeavour to promote exchanges between the students and the start-up communities at universities in the UK and China.

2. Strategic networking: I plan to create a platform to catalyse the interaction between students and industrial professionals. This platform will provide IC students with exclusive opportunities to work in relevant start-ups and more access to tailored career fairs.

3. Compliance and Responsibility: I will ensure that the choices made are by the rules set out by the CSSA and Imperial finance departments, upholding the integrity of the CSSA and maintaining a good image within Imperial College London.

My plan follows the SMART system to ensure they are tangible and achievable. Vote for me, and I am privileged to serve you as your career officer.
