Hello! I’m Rhea, a first-year student studying Economics, Finance, and Data Science. I am honored to present my candidacy for the role of Deputy Head of the Entertainment Department (External).

Collaboration Across Departments: My foremost objective is to cultivate a spirit of collaboration across all departments. By promoting open communication and inclusivity, I aim to make our events more impactful and engage a broader student audience.

Enhancing Event Variety with Innovation and Creativity:Traditional events like the 新生营 (Freshmen Camp) and 非诚勿扰 are valuable to our department and society. I aim to innovate these traditions with creative ideas, blending them with future trends to create memorable highlights.

Proposals to Achieve These Goals:

Effective Communication with Venues and Event Planning:I will ensure seamless negotiations and bookings with event venues, prioritizing clear communication to secure optimal locations for our activities.
Comprehensive Backup Plans:I am dedicated to developing robust backup strategies for all events to ensure smooth execution, regardless of unforeseen challenges.
Supporting the Head of Department:My commitment extends to assisting our Head in orchestrating unparalleled social events, striving to make each occasion unforgettable for all participants.

Furthermore, I aspire to foster stronger connections with Chinese societies from other universities like UCL, LSE, and UAL through co-organized events. This will not only expand our network but also provide a platform for social and knowledge exchange.
