Bingqi Li

Chinese Students & Scholars Association: Vice President

Dear fellow CSSA members,

I am Bingqi Li, a third-year undergraduate studying mathematics and computer science. I am honoured to run as Vice President in the upcoming CSP election period.

Holding the position of head treasurer last year, I have taken the initiative and responsibility to design and program a highly centralised web system to address daily financial activities and management at CSSA. This project is a significant technical improvement of our traditional treasury workflow, receiving positive feedback across all departments.

In this role, I had the privilege to have closely worked with every department, gaining invaluable experience and insights of how each sector functions both individually and collectively. Being one of the largest CSPs across the union, I believe it is crucial that all departments are running efficiently and collaboratively.

If elected, I’m confident to achieve the following:

  • Continue to work closely with the Treasury and Secretary departments, to ensure the smooth operations of CSSA in both financial and administrative aspects, facilitating unimpeded execution of all departmental activities.
  • Explore strategies to improve efficiency and communication across all activity departments, listening and advocating for our members to ensure that everyone’s voices and concerns are heard and addressed.
  • Enhance the bond across members and CSSA departments by fostering a culture of inclusivity, respect, and teamwork. I believe CSSA is not merely a student organisation, but a vibrant community where every member should feel valued and empowered.

Thank you for considering my candidacy.
