Plastic Surgery: Equipment Officer

I would love to be the next Equipment Officer for iPRAS. I understand the role requires strict attention to detail to ensure all equipment needs are met and resources are in excellent condition. The workshops during conferences are incredibly useful in building skills and confidence among iPRAS members. For these events, procuring quality materials is essential, and as Equipment Officer, I am committed to ensuring these opportunities run smoothly.

My experience as Head Girl required me to build relationships with suppliers for various events and manage the organisation and distribution of large volumes of products. While this was prior to university, I have since honed the skills needed to meet deadlines, coordinate with suppliers, and build strong relationships. This is essential for establishing trust in the provision of materials, enabling me to identify when equipment doesn’t meet the society’s requirements and communicate effectively to promptly rectify the situation

As education officer for ICSM netball I will be involved in the management of logistics when organising resources and mocks. This role requires strict attention to detail and the maintenance of trust and relationships with volunteers is required to provide tutorials and coordinate these mocks. It is these qualities which I will bring to the role of equipment officer to ensure the effective, timely procurement and cataloging of excellent quality materials for the society.

I have really benefited from workshops and understand the role as crucial to that success. I would love to support current iPRAS members and grow the community.
