Hi Everyone,

My name is Arjun and I'm standing for the Imperial Cubing Treasurer Role. I hope to foster an inclusive and engaged community. Even though we may be smaller, we can still advance our engagement and involvement. If elected, I hope to zone down on 3 key areas:

1. Setting up a weekly in-person meetup. Whether you're a beginner who wants to learn or a seasoned pro, these meetups will provide you with the opportunity to meet fellow cubers and get involved in the society. These sessions will cater to all skill levels and interests.

2. Hosting/ Promoting competition. There are many competitions hosted by the WCA and UKCA. I plan to encourage active participation in these events and set up internal society competitions. This will be a competitive (but friendly!) environment where you can improve your skills and have fun.

3. Ensuring clear communication channels. To effectively advertise events and meetups I would target a weekly email containing information on upcoming events and how to get involved. I'm also open to suggestions on other communication channels as a weekly email might prove to be too spammy.

I aim to create a diverse community where everyone, regardless of skill level, feels heard, involved, and has fun. Thank you for your time and I hope to have your support!
