Hey everyone,

I’m Dan, and I’m running to be your First Year Academic Rep.

Let’s face it, maths is tough enough without feeling like we’re in it alone. The main thing I can promise is that I’ll actually deal with bs when it comes up. Now, I might not be topping the charts as the best mathematician here (probably nearer the bottom, to be honest), but I’ll be the rep who gets their hands dirty. Whether it’s pushing for more tutorials when lectures feel like a marathon or fixing issues during exam season, I’ll be in the trenches with you. Whatever it is, I’ll get it sorted as long as it’s in my power instead of just yapping to teachers about it.

I’ll regularly check in, gather feedback, and make sure everyone’s voices are heard – whether you’re loud or more on the “I’ll just sit here quietly” side of things (let’s be real, the latter is most of us).

I’m here to make sure our voices are heard, our concerns get raised, and hopefully, make this year a little fun (probably not, we are at Imperial after all).
