I’m Karin and here I report to you my manifesto to become your ME2 Academic Rep!

To keep it short and sweet, while this degree might be a breeze for some, maybe a more familiar description of the mech eng experience is that it’s a bit like looking both ways before you cross a road then getting hit by an airplane :)

As your rep, I’ll work to keep that airplane where it belongs – in the sky – by representing you. On the regard of how I’ll do that, that’s up to YOU. I believe it needs to be personalised; whether it is a simple idea that you and your friends have about how to make the lecture-tutorial system flow more smoothly, incorporating more structured feedback from submissions, setting up a clinic for those who are still a bit shaky on concepts from ME1, or addressing a significant issue that you face on a regular basis, each must be addressed differently. While I might not be the most familiar face, I hope those of you who have spoken to me have felt that I am very approachable and always try to help whether that be help from me personally or by referring you to those who can. As I spend a lot of my time on campus, I’m always around to hear you out !!
