My primary goal as your academic rep is to ensure that each of you thrives in our department and reaches your academic goals. I am passionate about fostering a supportive and productive environment for everyone.
With six years of experience on my schools' student councils, I have the skills and confidence to address any issues that may arise—whether it’s feedback about lectures, workshops, tutors, or any other academic concerns. I know how much we value our education (we wouldn’t be here otherwise), and I’m committed to advocating for the changes we need to ensure we’re truly getting the best possible academic experience.
As your academic rep, I will:
- Establish regular communication with you. This goes both ways: I will keep you informed about any decisions following discussions with academic staff, and I am always open to talk with you in person or online about your academic concerns.
- Advocate for any needed changes to improve our learning experience, whether it’s related to teaching methods, course materials, or academic resources.
- Work closely with tutors and department staff to ensure any concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Ensure that every voice is heard, regardless of background or academic pathway, and promote an inclusive, diverse academic environment.
