Hey guys I'm Bhargavi (for those who don't know me, I am in your cohort) and I would love to be one of your academic reps this year!
I am committed to being your voice, ensuring that our concerns and ideas are heard and addressed effectively. This year is vital for us all, as we are preparing to graduate and transition into our life post uni. I aim to ensure that our final year is not just about completing requirements but also maximising opportunities for learning, growth, and preparation for the future :)
My priorities are:

Enhancing our academic experience: I will actively engage with the lecturers to ensure that our curriculum remains relevant, well-structured, and manageable. I will also advocate for flexible coursework deadlines and more structured revision resources to help us especially during exam season.

Effective Communication: I will facilitate open lines of communication between students and lecturers, ensuring that your concerns, suggestions, and feedback are continuously provided and acted upon. Regular updates on any changes in any of the modules will be relayed via me :D

Coursework Support: I understand the challenges of balancing FYD, research project, electives, and job searches. I will work to secure additional resources, such as office hours with academic staff, to aid in all of our projects this year.
