Guoxuan CUI

Hello guys! I am Guoxuan Cui, a third-year PhD student in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Having served as the MSc Future Power Networks Representative in 2020-2021 and as the Council Representative in 2023-2024, I have developed a deep understanding of the needs and concerns of postgraduate students. Now in my fourth year at Imperial College and the Faculty of Engineering, I am committed to ensuring that the voices of PG students are heard and their interests are protected. Last academic year I attended every Council meeting, and I pledge to continue my active participation. I will ensure that the concerns of postgraduate engineering students are brought to the forefront and that solutions are provided.

As an electrical engineering student, I am particularly passionate about sustainability-related issues around the campus. In the coming year, I will advocate for more initiatives to reduce the environmental impact within the faculty and work towards a more sustainable campus. I believe together we can ensure that Imperial College leads by example in fostering a greener future (and even a higher QS rank!!). As the Council Representative, I am here to represent your needs and let’s work together to make a huge impact!
