Hi everyone,

After having had a great time as your academic rep last year, I’ve decided to run again.

Last year, I worked closely with many of you to address academic issues, and one of my proudest achievements was securing an uncapped resit for students affected by technical issues in the STAT exam. At first, the situation seemed immovable, with administration insisting there was nothing they could do about it. However, I refused to take no for an answer, and through persistence and multiple meetings I ensured that affected students were offered an uncapped resit.

This experience demonstrated how critical it is to have someone who is not only approachable but also willing to go the extra mile to make sure that every student is treated fairly. I genuinely care about the success and well-being of everyone in our course, and I believe that my proactive approach and determination make me the right person to keep advocating for you.
