Luke Dee

Hey everyone! I’m Luke and I’m applying to be your welfare rep this year. During my time at this university, I have had to make use of the welfare services available more than once, so I know what it’s like to be in that position and I thought it was about time I gave something back. As your welfare rep, I endeavour to continue the great work of those previously in the role to raise awareness of the support available, be a strong voice for you in meetings with the higher ups, and hopefully provide a few more sweet treats in the stressful periods. My main focus will be on improving experiences with academic tutors as I’ve been hearing complaints about some of them for a while now! Fair warning though – the constant survey nagging will probably not end with me :D (sorry)
