Mia Taylor-Robinson

Hi everyone! I’m Mia, and I’m super exited to join the DesEng family. I’m a chatty and approachable person who believes in the power of community and connection. My goal is to create an environment where everyone feels supported and heard. We're all adjusting to a new chapter here at Imperial, and often, the best way to find support for ourselves is through supporting others.

As your student representative, I will prioritise accessible wellbeing support for all. I’m also planning to organise fun, light-hearted activities throughout the year, such as:

Secret Santa: An anonymous gift exchange to bring some festive cheer to our year group.

Culture Day: A celebration where we can share food, fashion, and music from our diverse backgrounds.

Valentine's Wall: An open space for sharing messages of appreciation and encouragement with peers.

Easter Egg Hunt: A scavenger hunt through the department. Participants will follow clues and riddles leading to sweet treats.

Sports Day: An opportunity to get competitive! Our sports day will feature classic activities like tug of war and egg and spoon races.
