Hello, I’m Tianhao LI, and I’m running to be your Community Engagement Officer for Ethics & the Environment. I am committed to driving sustainability and ethical practices across campus while fostering a culture of environmental stewardship and community involvement. Here’s my plan:

Promote Sustainable Practices: I will work to increase the availability of sustainable options on campus, such as eco-friendly dining choices, waste reduction initiatives, and accessible recycling stations. I’ll campaign for better support for cycling and other low-carbon transport.

Raise Awareness and Educate: I will organize workshops, speaker events, and campaigns to educate students on sustainability, climate change, and ethical consumption. By collaborating with student societies and external organizations, we can foster a more informed and engaged community.

Support Green Research and Innovation: I will advocate for increased funding and resources for environmental research projects. I’ll work with departments to encourage student involvement in sustainability-focused research and real-world problem-solving.

Enhance Community Engagement: I will initiate volunteering opportunities and partnerships with local organizations focused on environmental action. Together, we can make a positive impact beyond the campus, such as participating in tree planting, clean-up events, and conservation projects.

Improve Ethical Standards: I will campaign for responsible investment policies and encourage ethical sourcing of materials and services across the College.
