Hello, I’m Tianhao LI, and I’m running to be your International Students Campaigns Officer. As an international student myself, I understand the unique challenges we face, and I’m committed to making our experience at Imperial more inclusive, supportive, and fulfilling. Here’s how I’ll work for you:

Enhance Integration and Support Services: I will advocate for better orientation programs and ongoing support for international students, including visa assistance, accommodation guidance, and access to essential services. I’ll work to ensure a smoother transition to life in the UK.

Promote Cultural Exchange and Diversity: I will organize events that celebrate our diverse backgrounds, such as international food festivals, cultural showcases, and language exchange programs. This will foster mutual understanding and create a more vibrant community.

Address Financial Challenges: I will campaign for increased access to scholarships, bursaries, and emergency financial support for international students. I’ll also push for clearer communication on tuition fees, living costs, and available resources.

Combat Discrimination and Support Well-being: I will actively campaign against discrimination and work to improve mental health services that cater to the unique needs of international students. I’ll promote cultural sensitivity training for staff and students.
