Hi everyone, I’m Begum and I’m a candidate for the position of Community Engagement Officer for International Students. As an International (First Year!!) Student myself, I know how important it is to form a community in your new home. That is why I would like to dedicate myself to ensure everyone feels happy in university. Previously in school I engaged in my school’s student council which led me to organize a lot of events (from balls to movie nights...) speak up for my classmates and help them engage with their community.
