Devangi Vyas

Hello everyone! I’m Devangi, a third year medic hoping to represent you as your head of promotions for Cardiovascular society. With a passion for the heart, I promise to keep our community supportive, facilitate meaningful connections and promote our events on all platforms. Here are my proposed initiatives to keep everyone in the loop:

• Improve newsletters, websites and social media platforms for regular communication so important updates reach everyone in a timely manner.
• Forge more frequent partnerships with other medical streams/societies to better promote cardiology interests.
• Enhance the visibility and impact of our initiatives, by promoting activities across all platforms, using creative marketing strategies and multimedia resources to raise awareness.
• Work collaborately with the lovely publicity team to increase platform accessibility for members to easily voice their opinions, concerns and suggestions e.g more instagram takeovers, Q&As and feedback boxes.
• Implement and advertise interactive virtual forums and networking events to increase member engagement and provide opportunities for better collaboration within the cardiology community.

Utilising my previous president experience, running social media platforms and being a communication officer for a network of welfare charities, I promise to maintain the cardiology lines of communication and keep us all well promoted. Thank you for reading my manifesto and vote for me!
