Women in Business: Head of Marketing

Hi everyone! I’m Kiki, a MSc Global Health Management student at the Business School.

As the former Marketing Manager of Women in Business, I gained experience in creating promotional content and developing marketing strategies, along with a holistic understanding of the society’s vision and what students seek for. This year, I will aim to create a longer-lasting impact on the community by elevating our brand and bringing a fresh perspective to the table, ensuring all students know about our events.

I firmly believe in achieving excellence through diverse perspectives and transparent communication. Demonstrated in my role of President of the Fashion and Design Society, I led a team of 15 to organise workshops in collaboration with other London universities and execute a Charity Fashion Show, raising over £2000 for charity and receiving multiple positive feedback. My experience liaising with professional designers and sponsors has made me adaptable and comfortable with handling various demands and communication styles – qualities that I believe make me well-suited for the role of Head of Marketing.

I aim to introduce initiatives focusing on:

  • Expanding the society reach: Utilise LinkedIn to expand our presence to more professionals in different industries.
  • Attractive visuals and brand consistency: To enhance the society’s digital presence, ensuring that our brand is modern, professional, and consistent across all channels is crucial. This includes refining colour schemes and typography to create a cohesive brand identity

Thank you for your vote and I can’t wait to help you reach your career goal :)
