Isa Duchovny
Hey guys! My name's Isa, short for Isabella, and I'm running to be your Year 1 Wellbeing Rep for BMB. University can feel so overwhelming at first, so I want to make sure we have support on hand so that we can find some sort of balance and enjoy this year.
As your Wellbeing Rep, I want to ensure that you are in an environment where you can be comfortable reaching out-be it academics or just needing someone to talk to. I'll work with staff and student services so mental health resources are easy to find, and that you always know where to turn if you need support.
I also plan to incorporate some fun activities to help us de-stress and have much-needed breaks from all the studying:
- Puppy Therapy: Take a break and spend time with the on-campus therapy dogs.
- Snack & Ice Cream Breaks: I'll set up casual meetups where we can recharge with some treats.
- Mindfulness & Yoga: Quick sessions to help you destress and just clear your mind.
- Outdoor Socials: Casual afternoons in the park to get some fresh air and just chill out.
- Movie & Game Nights: Just to loosen up, spend time with friends outside of class.
I don't want any one person feeling like they're in it alone. If elected, I will definitely make wellbeing a priority, trying my best to make this year stress-free.
