I’m Bari, a 3rd year medical student and I’m running for Executive Treasurer. I have a strong background in leadership and management, both within Imperial and outside. As co-president of the Endocrinology Society and with experience managing a family business, I am committed to bringing transparency, efficiency, and growth to ICSMSU.
My plans as executive treasurer include:
Financial Transparency
As a general student at ICSM, I find that it is unclear where our SU’s money goes and how it all benefits us. I want this to change. I will ensure clear communication of all financial matters. Regular updates and detailed breakdowns of income and expenditure will be shared with the student body, allowing everyone to have a better understanding of where our money goes.
Effective Budgeting
I will apply my experience with managing society and business budgets to ensure that every penny is spent wisely. My focus will be on maximizing resources for the benefit of everyone.
Creative Fundraising
I will explore new fundraising opportunities and partnerships to help fund events, support and opportunities. This will ensure ICSMSU has the resources needed to support our vibrant community.
