Who sends out the emails notifying you to buy biology merch and about activities? The secretary!
It is an important role that notifies you of events where you can make fond memories and make new friends that all contribute towards the ‘uni experience’, and I am certain that I will excel at the job.
For Biosoc members, I will ensure efficiency and transparency by managing detailed meeting minutes and setting clear goals to ensure the whole society is informed and involved to deliver perfect events for you to participate in.
I understand how many emails we get every single day, so I will ensure that the newsletters are short and succinct with all the information that you need.
For people running for committee roles, you should vote for me because I already have previous experience working in a Student Leadership Team and can foster seamless collaboration within the committee. As a team member, I am easy to talk to and reliable by staying organised through the use of my physical calendar and notion.
Nothing makes me more happy than having all my friends together making forever memories. I understand how important it is to actually know what's going on within BioSoc because I frequently attend (and love) the socials put on by the society, for example ice skating, Kew Gardens and UCL x Imperial Panel Discussion, so you will never miss another event if you vote for me.
