Hello, I’m Abichana, and I’m running to be your next GP Soc Secretary!

General Practice is an incredible field because it offers a unique opportunity to engage with patients across all walks of life, manage a variety of conditions, and establish long-term relationships. I’m keen to get involved in the many GP soc initiatives that support and connect medical students, such as the annual conference and the variety of teaching series offered throughout the year.Throughout medical school, I’ve taken on multiple coordination roles, including serving as Conference Chair for the Endocrinology Society and organising the annual conference for In2MedSchool. These experiences have helped me develop strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills that would be useful for this role. I’m passionate about enhancing the medical student experience, and ensuring events are the best they can be!
