Aryan Ganesan

Dear ICSM Badminton,

I'm Aryan, a 2nd year medic, and I am very excited to apply for the role of Badminton Vice President. Badminton has been a huge part of my university life since starting at Imperial and I have learnt a lot about how the club works and the skills required to run this club effectively. Having served as Social Captain this year, I have been deeply involved in creating a welcoming and engaging club environment. I have thoroughly enjoyed running the Tuesday social sessions, allowing everyone to have a go at this fun sport and encouraging newcomers to have a go and see if they like it.

My dedication to this club extends beyond just weekly sessions- I have gone on both Badminton tours to Vienna last year and Berlin this year. Both these experiences have reinforced my commitment to the club and given me great insight into what makes a good tour. If you vote me for Vice President, I will ensure that the tour next year is just as amazing, doing my best to create an unforgettable trip for next years members.

In this role I aim to create a fun and safe space for all members whether it's to meet new people through socials or play for its amazing team. With my experience, commitment and passion for inclusivity, I am confident that I will be a great Vice President and I would love your support in voting for me!
