With a strong commitment to driving growth and fostering valuable partnerships, I am eager to serve as your Sponsorship Officer for the Surgical Society. My experience in outreach and securing partnerships, including securing media vendors for a cheap price for Megamaalai Ball 2025, which had over 700 attendees and finding sponsorship partners during my time as VP of Events for Friends of Médecins Sans Frontières, equipping me with the necessary skills needed to bring valuable support to our society.

My manifesto is based on two core principles:

1. Strategic Networking– Building connections is at the heart of successful sponsorship. By leveraging my experience in contacting diverse organisations, I will strategically approach potential sponsors who align with our values and goals. My aim is to develop partnerships that enhance our society’s resources and reputation.
2. Sustainable Growth– A successful sponsorship strategy involves not only securing immediate support but ensuring long-term relationships. I will focus on creating a diverse sponsorship portfolio, reaching out to a range of organisations to ensure that our society has continuous support. By identifying sponsors with shared interests in the field of surgery, I will ensure that these partnerships grow sustainably.

In conclusion, my previous experiences have given me the tools to create meaningful and lasting sponsorships for the Surgical Society. As your Sponsorship Officer, I will work tirelessly to build a strong network of partners, ensuring our society has the resources and opportunities it needs to thrive.
