Hey everyone!

O&G has always fascinated me, but it was my growing interest in research that truly made me realize just how much there is to explore in women’s health. During my placement, I saw how impactful this specialty is, and when I discovered this incredible society, I knew I had found a community I wanted to be a part of.

As I spoke to consultants, I realized how important it is to start engaging with O&G early on—whether through tutorials, networking, or just learning more about the specialty. That’s why I’m so passionate about making these opportunities accessible to early-year students. I know that in the first years, it can sometimes feel daunting to explore specialties beyond the core curriculum, so I want to bridge that gap by ensuring that O&G resources/ events are not only available but also welcoming and easy to get involved in.

As Early Years Officer, I’ll work to make sure that early-years students have a clear pathway to engage with O&G, whether it’s through tailored tutorials, early exposure to clinical skills, or opportunities to connect with mentors and older students. I want to make it easier for those with even the slightest curiosity about O&G to dive in, ask questions, and find their passion in this incredible field.

I’d love the chance to contribute to this amazing society and help create a space where early-year students feel supported, informed, and excited about exploring O&G. I can’t wait to meet and work with you all!
