Moyin Sina-Atanda

Hi, my name is Moyin and I’m running for Ys 2 & 4 Academic Officer.

As an incoming fourth year student with a strong interest in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, I am eager to enhance the learning experience for Year 2 and Year 4 students through well-structured tutorials and events.

Having scored highly in the Development & Ageing components of the Year 1 and 2 BRS exams, and hoping to undertake a Reproductive Sciences BSc next year, I have a strong academic foundation to help shape tutorials and events that support students’ learning.

Beyond academics, I bring experience in leadership, organisation, and teaching. I've founded my own tutoring businesses, where I built teams of skilled teachers from amongst my classmates to deliver high-quality sessions—skills directly transferable to creating effective teaching events both virtually and in-person.

My experience on the IC Gospel Choir committee over the past two years has also reinforced my ability to bring people together, manage logistics, and create spaces where individuals thrive—skills I will use to make O&G teaching engaging, well-structured, and beneficial for everyone.

I’m looking forward to getting more involved with the society next year and playing a real part in its growth. I’m excited to help build something that not only benefits students but also strengthens the society’s presence within ICSM.
