Hi! My name is Abhini and I would love to be one of the General Executives for ICACS next year!
I have developed a strong interest in acute care specialties, particularly through my clinical placements in anaesthetics and surgery and I’m keen to immerse myself further into this field and contribute to the society, helping to create opportunities for students to engage with acute care medicine.
Why me?
I’m organised and proactive: my past leadership roles, including being a House Prefect at school and my experience managing social media for societies, show my ability to take initiative and stay organised.
I’m a team player: I work well in collaborative environments, having built a strong rapport with my colleagues in different settings, from tutoring to working at a local restaurant to me.
I’m passionate about acute care: my clinical experiences this year have solidified my interest in surgery and anaesthesia, and I would really like to help others explore these career paths.
My aims
Help organise engaging events such as speaker talks, workshops, and clinical skills sessions.
Improve student engagement with the society by effectively promoting events.
Ensure smooth operation of society activities, contributing wherever needed to support the committee.
