Hi, I'm Sid, and I'm running to be the 2nd XI captain for next season.

As a core member of the squad this year, I’ve come to really understand what makes the 2s such a special side — the spirit, the togetherness, and the shared ambition. Playing for this team has been one of the highlights of my time in the club, and I’m looking forward to being part of its journey in the seasons ahead.

I have a few ambitions for next year, and I believe promotion is firmly on the cards with the quality and depth we have in the squad. As captain, I know that tactics and selection play a role, but creating a welcoming, positive team environment is just as important, if not more. I want to make sure every player feels included, motivated, and backed.

As an all-rounder, I’ve always tried to contribute wherever the team needs me, whether it’s with the bat, the ball, or just staying switched on in the field. I try to lead by example and stay steady when things get tough. If I were to take on the captaincy, I’d bring that same mindset; calm, committed, and always backing the team.
