Hi!

I'm Leo, a year 2 Biological Sciences student with a keen interest in exploring and showcasing our natural world. Most of you would have likely met me leading our nature walks this year and you would know that my favourite organisms to identify in the field include bryophytes, lichens and fungi because they are often so overlooked. Nevertheless, I also enjoy tending to my ever-growing collection of houseplants, some of which are carnivorous!

Next year, I am hoping to bring Botanical Society back together again with some more fresh ideas, exciting events and new collaborations. Something to really look forward to are the upcoming projects by Imperial to redesign our campus green spaces. As a society of nature and plant enthusiasts, I believe we can take an active role in this exciting project to make meaningful changes that will shape our campus towards an environmentally friendly future. Looking forward to another wonderful botanical year with you all!
