PotMed has shown me the power of access, opportunity, and community — and I’m ready to help take that even further. From volunteering last year, I saw how a single event can open doors for students who may have thought medicine was out of reach. This experience motivated me to get involved to help deliver that same level of support and work alongside a team committed to making a real difference.
As a former Head Girl and founder of an education-focused charity, I’ve built and led initiatives that uplift underserved communities. I understand what it takes to run events, manage teams, and think strategically to ensure long-term success. I’ve also worked closely with aspiring medics, helping them navigate the application process through mock interviews and personal statement support. Together, these experiences have given me the confidence and practical skills needed to take on the role and contribute meaningfully to the continued success of PotMed.
I want to help PotMed grow in scale and impact by introducing a hybrid programme that combines in-person events with a bank of high-quality, accessible online resources — including recorded sessions, interactive Q&As, and application guides tailored to each stage of the process. I’d also like to build stronger outreach to schools outside London, especially those with limited access to medical mentorship, by partnering with local organisations and creating targeted support packages. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure that every student who comes across PotMed feels more confident and supported — no matter their background.
