Yuxuan Lin

Hi everyone! I’m Yuxuan (yu-shen), a 3rd (final) year student.

We’ve been having a lot of issues at the start of term already and for many of you it is also your final year. I aim to make this year running as smoothly as possible in terms of the academic work.

If I were elected as this year’s academic rep I would:

• Be proactive in alleviating any worries by acting as the liaison between you and any of the academic staff to address any concerns.

• Act as an easy point of contact; I am happy to chat with you all! (I usually sit in the MLC or library, but my email is always open for any concerns.)

From my personal experience with lectures, I am someone who follows along with the material better when mathematical results or prerequisites are clearly stated, and having the necessary resources working/ released on time can make my revision for assessed work more efficient. I strongly feel delivering this would benefit the whole cohort.

I am always on board to take on any ideas to improve our student experience for the year ahead.
