WHO AM I?

My name is Brandon Wooding. I grew up in Trinidad and Tobago and have studied and worked in London for the last 6 years. I'm now on MSc AI.

WHY AM I THE REP YOU WANT?

Leaving the working world to pursue this master’s, I am determined to get the very best out of this course. The student rep role, is an opportunity for me to take tangible action to ensure that happens, not just for me, but for all of my peers.

I believe that my diverse background allows me to stand as a fair representative of the diverse perspectives in our department. I did not grow up in London, so I understand the experience of those who have come from abroad. I am returning to education, and I am presently aware of the challenges associated with this. I also have two sisters who have broadened my outlook and taught me patient consideration. Further, in all areas where my personal experiences fall short, I would hope that my openness makes it easy for you to share new perspectives with me.

WHAT WILL I DO?

As your rep, I commit to listening to you as my peers, to advocating for us all as a course and to collaborating as best as possible to ensure that we can all make the most of our time here at Imperial. Any issues you have, I will fight to resolve. Any opportunities you see, I will champion to bring to life.
