Hi everyone !! We have all experienced the academic struggles of first year and I am sure you have heard scary rumours about second year workload. I'd like to be your academic rep and I hope to relieve as much pressure and stress as possible by doing the stuff I've listed below (please have a read, I spent a lot of time on this)

To get to the point, here are some reasons why I think I'd be suitable for the role:

• Organised: I am a very "T" person (MBTI reference)
• Fair and empathetic: I can handle complaints with neutrality, understand different perspectives and find balanced solutions
• Committed to improvement: I will take on feedback and advocate for positive changes in both teaching and assessment

And finally, here is what I'd do in this role:

• Chat with students to gather honest feedback on assessments, marking, and workload
• Speak up for clearer, fairer feedback that actually helps us improve
• Work with lecturers to make sure course materials are easy to access and match what’s in the handbook
• Team up with wellbeing reps to share ideas and make sure student voices are heard
