Hi everyone,

My name is Prabhdeep Bhatti, and I’m running to be your Academic Representative for Molecular Bioengineering. I’m passionate about making sure every student’s voice is heard and that our course experience continues to evolve in ways that truly support our learning, wellbeing, and future goals.

If elected, my priorities will be:

1. Enhancing Communication: I’ll work to create a clear and consistent channel between students and staff, ensuring that feedback is gathered, acted upon, and communicated back to you. Everyone should know how their opinions shape course decisions.
2. Academic Support and Resources: I’ll push for more accessible revision materials, well-structured tutorials, and greater transparency around assessments and marking criteria. I also aim to encourage more cross-year mentoring so we can learn from each other’s experiences.
3. Course Community and Collaboration: I want to foster a stronger sense of community within Molecular Bioengineering — through study groups, social-academic events, and collaborations with other departments to broaden our perspectives and networks.
4. Wellbeing and Balance: I’ll advocate for better workload management and ensure mental health and wellbeing remain key considerations in course planning.
