Let's make one thing clear, I'm not running to be get a CV goal or some kind of arbitrary authority. The real reason I’m running is because I myself have struggled with my mental health. I’ve been removed from studies, medicated, and more. I know how it feels to be drowning in it all. I don’t wanna say too much about my struggles but I guess I just want to say: I get it. Sometimes you don’t need advice, you don’t want solutions, you just need someone to listen. I can’t promise you I’ll understand whatever you go through, but I do promise that you won’t go through it alone. Even if I’m not elected, that truth will remain. I really do want to be there for you all because I don’t want anyone to feel how I’ve felt. Hopefully, this position will make it easier to do more.

My goal as Wellbeing Rep is simple: to make sure we all feel supported and together throughout our journey. Every month I will send out a completely optional anonymous survey where you can tell me how you’ve been feeling with the course and student life and I will do my best to push the department for solutions. After every meeting I will share discussion feedback with you all and make sure everything is completely transparent.

And events... We need cookies at tutorials! We demand sausage rolls! (And veggie rolls for some) You better believe pizza is on its way.
