Hi everyone! I think I’d make a great Wellbeing Rep because I really care about making DE1 as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Although this is my first year of DesEng, it’s actually my second year at Imperial – I transferred from MechEng – so I’ve been in your shoes and know exactly how you’re all feeling. Having been through it all once already, I’m coming into this year feeling laidback and well-prepared. This means I’ll always be in the right headspace to listen, help out, and support anyone who needs it. I’m not nearly as stressed as some of you may be feeling, so I’m the ideal person to to come to with any issues. Uni can be overwhelming, frustrating, maybe even a bit lonely at times – I’ve been there! Whatever it is, I’d be honoured to listen to your struggles and do my absolute best to provide a solution. I’m a sociable, approachable person so I can promise that you’ll feel comfortable coming to me with any concerns. I’m excited to organise fun events for all of us, get to know more of our cohort through this role, and keep DesEng a positive, welcoming space. Thank you!
