Clinical genetics is a field of science that I am interested in, as it lies at the forefront of innovation and has a profound impact on the future of diagnosis, treatment, and personalised healthcare. With rapid advances in genomic medicine transforming how we understand and manage disease, I am eager to be involved in a society that promotes awareness and learning in this area.

I believe I would be a strong fit for the role of Secretary, as I have previously undertaken similar positions in other societies and fully appreciate the level of commitment, organisation, and teamwork that is required. Through these experiences, I have developed strong communication and time management skills, which I hope to bring to this committee to ensure the smooth running of meetings, effective coordination of events, and clear communication between members.
