I am thrilled to be running for Treasurer of the ICSM Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society. I believe my experience as conference co-chair, previous experience on the Student Union as Voluneteering & Academics VC, and my general experience in managing funds for societies would make me a great choice for Obs & Gynae treasurer!

This year, serving as co-chair of our annual conference, I successfully navigated financial challenges by keeping ticket prices low despite rising living costs reflecting my commitment to the financial well-being of our members. And, as ICSM SU Volunteering and Academic Vice Chair, I learnt financial management skills, assisting societies like ours in budgeting effectively through annual budgeting and general financial planning.

If elected Treasurer, I commit to strategic financial planning. I aim to invest our SGI wisely, acquiring equipment for the society now to eliminate future rental costs, ensuring our conferences maintain high standards while saving money. Additionally, my focus on inclusivity involves exploring bursary tickets - enhancing accessibility with the help of external sponsorships.

My proficiency in eactivities ensures that I will be able to aid other committee members in navigating an admittedly confusing system and ensuring that we maintain our financial security. In this role I would collaborate with the executive team to maximise our efficiency, aligning our budget with the society's long-term goals.
