Laith Mohajer
Hey!
I am Laith Mohajer, a 3rd Year Student, running for Vice President within our Physics Society.
My vision is simple; to transform our department into a vibrant, active community where fellowship and physical well-being are at the forefront.
Community and Well-being: My primary goal is to foster a greater sense of community within our department. Sports have a unique way of breaking down barriers, encouraging teamwork, and building friendships. By organizing regular tournaments and casual play sessions in e.g: basketball, cricket, and football, I aim to create a welcoming, inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of skill level.
An Active Department: I envision a department where activity and health are integral to our daily lives. Regular sporting events will not only provide a fun break from academic pressures but also promote a healthy lifestyle, improving both physical and mental well-being.
What I Bring to the Table: With firsthand experience in organizing social and sports events, I understand the logistics, planning, and enthusiasm required to make these events successful. I'm committed to ensuring that these events are not just well-organized but also accessible to all, fostering a supportive atmosphere that encourages department-wide participation.
Join me in making our Physics Society more active, connected, and fun. Together, we can create an environment where every student feels part of a vibrant community! Let's make PhySoc Great Again!!!
