I'm excited to stand for Co-Chair following my role as Conference Chair. With a deep understanding of event logistics, including budgeting and speaker coordination, I am eager to contribute more to SEMSoc's continued success. As Conference Chair, I have navigated the complexities of event organisation, ensuring seamless operations from budget management to coordinating speaker engagements. This firsthand experience uniquely positions me to effectively collaborate with the Co-Chair to enhance the overall functioning of SEMSoc.

In the upcoming year, my focus is on community building. More socials will increase awareness, enhancing our community and creating opportunities to showcase SEMSoc's events and conferences. Additionally, I propose integrating workshops into our conferences, providing practical experiences for members with varied interests.

I aim to strengthen ties with other SEMSocs, opening avenues for shared knowledge and joint events. To maximise attendance, I believe that hosting a national conference partnered with SEMSocs across the UK and also creating online access to the event will help us reach a broader audience and make the event more accessible.

I am confident that with these steps we can make SEMSoc more successful than ever!
