As the current academic and technical events officer, I’m very grateful for the chance to coordinate and organise events like the UROP101 and bioinformatics workshop as well as supporting the internship101 and careers fair events. There are more events under the pipeline so keep an eye out.

If you vote for me again, I will maintain the same great quality and enthusiasm I put into my events to ensure they go smoothly.

But there are a few things I would love to do better:

- I aim to scale the number of events and have some more hands-on workshops to help the bioengineers develop their skills.

- I also aim to do more collaborations between different societies that organise technical events to ensure the events have the optimal speaker and resource quality and are well-planned.
