Annie Alocious
Hi! My name is Annie and I would love to fulfil the role of Conference Chair. As an enthusiastic member of Neuroscience Society for the last 2 years I have thoroughly enjoyed helping with the Meeting of the Minds conference and would love to chair the conference this year.
Through my previous experiences in working in a team I understand the importance of good organisational and communication skills to effectively complete a task. This has been evident in my previous experience this past year as Publicity officer for NeuroSoc where I enjoyed working on the promotion side of the society. My previous conference experience comes from working on ClinGen Conference as subcommittee as well as on the Cardiology Conference as Events Head this past year which have taught me the multi-facets to running a conference. As conference chair for Neuroscience Society, I hope to bring my creativity and leadership skills to bring to life the Tenth Meeting of the Minds Conference. I am looking forward to arranging world-renowned researchers in Neuroscience as speaker as well as exciting new workshops for the society members and delegates. This year I hope to also collaborate with other London Neuroscience Societies for the conference and work with existing and new partners for sponsorship and foster professional relationships.
I look forward to Meeting of the Minds 2025 and hopefully leading the conference to success!
