As a second-year biotechnology student with a fervent interest in bridging the realms of biotechnology and finance, I perceive the role of corporate relations as pivotal for societal advancement, enabling students to delve deeper into the intricacies of the investment industry. This position serves as the cornerstone for fostering enduring relationships between corporations and society, laying the groundwork for the success of future endeavors.
Drawing from my experiences as an Outreach Lead at The Young Consultant and my involvement with the Finance Division of Joint University Careers Society, i am equipped with a robust foundation to excel in this role. Through my tenure, i cultivated invaluable connections with HR representatives ranging from bulge brackets like JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs, to boutique banks such as Moelis and Evercore. These relationships not only bolster the investment society but also hold the potential to drive sustainable growth and forge new partnerships in the future.
My responsibilities at The Young Consultant honed my skills in crafting persusasive pitch decks, priming me for effectively pitching for sponsorships, collaborations, and future events. Leveraging my expertise and established networks, i am poised to propel the investment society forward and foster mutually beneficial partnerships that endure the test of time.
If elected, my goal is not only to maintain the excellent relationships with current firms but also to expand our reach to new partners. Additionally, I aim to develop innovative events that better prepare students for careers in investment.
