Investment: Head of Sell-Side Corporate Relations

Hey, I’m Ajith, a second-year EEE student. Investment Society has been a huge help for me to learn more about finance through networking events, QT capital and training sessions. I am also keen to bridge the gap between students looking to work in finance and the range of career opportunities. Hence, I am running for Head of Sell-Side Corporate Relations.

From my role as VP of Industry Liaison at EESoc, I have successfully raised £6000 in sponsorships from leading companies such as Jump Trading, Apple and BP. I have even organised a careers fair with over 400+ students present so I hope to apply what I have learnt to improve our relationships with sell-side firms.

As your Head of Sell-Side, I will

Leverage my contacts from leading firms such as HSBC, Bank of America and Bloomberg to expand our sponsorship network
Promote training sessions particularly with providers such as SEO London or Generation Success to better equip our members to tackle recruitment season and internships by hosting CV or CL workshops
Leverage our alumni to provide real insights for students into potential careers and to learn how to best make use of their time at Imperial
