Sabrina Cruz

Hi everyone! My name is Sabrina Cruz and I’m a First Year Medical Biosciences with Management Student running for the Sponsorship Manager position in the Women in SET Society.

Finding a career to pursue after university can be challenging, so the role of the WSET Society is to make the journey a little bit easier. The only way to find a profession that suits you and meets all your requirements or needs, is to research. All the events that WSET prepares, the CV workshops, the panel events and dinners, are part of that research as they allow you to network, interact with professionals and learn the skills necessary for a certain job.

The role of a Sponsorship Manager is to collaborate with our sponsorship companies to create these events for the benefit of the members of the WSET society. I believe I would be able to fulfil this role at a high level due to my time management and communication skills. I would be able to put the time and effort into nurturing relationships with our sponsors to ensure amazing events for WSET and Imperial students.
