Plastic Surgery: Emergencies in Plastics Conference Chair

Heya! I’m Angie and with my good friend Kyleen (Cheuk), we are running for EIP conference co-chairs :))

Surgery has become a recent interest of mine, so I attended numerous conferences, teaching series and talks throughout the year to deepen my understanding and experience. The EIP conference this year was especially compelling, and as a result, I’d like to further my interest in the field by being more involved in the organisational aspects of conference planning.

My extensive experience in event planning, particularly in my roles as incoming Vice-Chair for ICSM Music and as a committee member of ICSMSU, has equipped me with the skills necessary for organising large-scale events. These roles have involved writing thorough risk assessments, managing finances, and navigating eActivities.

Having worked closely with Kyleen in the same tutor group and attended numerous conferences together, I’m confident that our combined skill sets and experiences will create an informative and unforgettable event for all aspiring plastic surgeons.
