Plastic Surgery: Emergencies in Plastics Conference Chair

Experiences:

As Head of Outreach at CardioSoc, I organised and planned logistics of our national conference, fostering a long-lasting partnership with MedMeat, important for procuring pork trotters and bellies. Being on SurgSoc’s Trauma Conference Committee, I understand the complexities of planning an international conference with 250+ delegates, preparing me well to embrace any challenges EIP might face. As founding member and Sponsorship Officer for Ortho and Transplant & Vascular Societies, my exposure to sponsor relations and grant applications enables me to collaborate effectively with our Finance team. As ICSM Representative for PRASSA and BAOMS JTG, my network of surgeons will contribute in speaker and demonstrator recruitment. Attending and presenting at 15+ conferences in the past year have exposed me to the essence of a successful conference, and I’ll draw inspiration on these experiences to ensure EiP’s success.

Working with Angie in the same tutor group, I’m confident our skill sets and experiences will create an informative, unforgettable and safe EiP.
