Deniz Koku

Hello, my name is Deniz and I am entering my fifth year. I am running for the Chair position at the Emergencies in Plastics Conference because I am deeply committed to medical education and have a strong interest in pursuing a career in plastics and ENT.

As a project manager for Diversity in Medical Academia (DIMA), I have experience coordinating online events. I have also delivered over 20 hours of clinical and pre-clinical lectures.

As a Surgical Society subcommittee member this academic year, and having attended plastic surgery society events throughout the year, I have gained a solid understanding of what organising a conference entails.
